Im 36+4week pregnant mother.DAMC twin...I m suffering frm itching all over the body.except face and plams. .my Dr said that it is a pregnancy rash.pupph. .so I want to know it affect for my babies or not.I got betahistamin orally for only one day.

Itching is a common pregnancy complication and it is usually due to stretching and changes of the skin. Sometimes you need medications for symptomatic relief. This does not adversely affect babies. Rarely itching can be a symptom of a condition called obstetrics cholestasis which affects the liver. In this condition itching is mainly on palms and soles. Your doctor usually recommends some blood tests if he suspect obstetric cholestasis.
